Rainforest Café

Drink Recommendation

If it is your first time here, go ahead and get any number of their crazy tropical drinks in the souvenir glass for about $16. If not, go for a Bud Light.

Bar Highlights

All the servers have to dress like they are on safari. There are fake animals and real fish everywhere. But the biggest highlight is the sick gift shop.

Challenge

With a full drink in hand, start drinking at the start of a thunderstorm, and don’t stop until it’s over. 3 points for completion.

Quote from Luke

Based on food and drink alone, this place is definitely not worth the price tag or the crowd. But, look around you. Where else can you see an elephant coming out of the wall or hear a thunderstorm every 18-20* minutes? Nowhere, that’s where. The atmosphere of the Rainforest Café more than makes up for the ridiculous price-for-quality. Pro tip: while there is always a wait to get a table here (god damn kids) the bar is almost always open, so just walk past the lady at the elephant hostess stand and start getting jungle drunk. P.S. if you want to save money, make sure you aren’t being charged for the souvenir glasses…they will do it unless you put up a fuss.
*According to a bartender, they also have a secret button that can make it happen at any time, so see what you can do with that information.

Nearest Bathroom

Past the elephant, but before the gorilla family. Surprisingly un-themed once you are inside.
